Word for January 10, 2010

Jesus came to us in love to reveal the Father. The Father so loved us He sent His son who so willingly came for the Joy set before Him. His Joy is in the Father and in us the ones who the Father gave to Him. Holy Spirit was sent to us as a deposit to live in us and make us witnesses of Jesus so the world might see Jesus in us, His bride. Holy Spirit is the kindest, most gentle brilliant person I have ever met. He is filled with grace and compassion and has the most amazing ability to comfort and counsel in every circumstance that we learn to overcome through His goodness and love. Wherever we go through our day He is faithful and remains with us as we abide in Him.

Father knew that His children on the earth after the fall were orphans. We left our high position of perfect love as sons and daughters and traded it away to be orphans on an earth to be self-made men and woman and hence the carnal nature of our flesh took dominance over our spirits that had perfect peace with the creator.  Jesus came to reveal the Father and if we have seen Him we have seen the Father. Jesus didn’t leave us in the state of orphans. The power of the Holy Spirit in us bring us to the revelation that we are no longer slaves to sin but to righteousness and have been adopted into son ship by His own hand and perfect will.

The divisions and broken relationships that we experience all too often in our churches, homes, work place, school and wherever life find us stem from the orphan heart that has as its core message dominant feelings of insecurity and inferiority.  These feelings that we can have at our core will always cause us to divide, hide from others even our loved ones and rob us of the inheritance that is here today through Holy Spirit who has revealed that we are forever sons and daughters of God most high. The orphan heart or sprit will cause so many dysfunctional behaviors in us because we have believed the lie that we aren’t totally and wonderfully loved and accepted through adoption into a kingdom not of this world but by His own hand. Father is not like our earthly fathers or any man or woman He is altogether different and He wants us to know how He feels about us and how passionate He is for you and me to know Him now even as He loves His son, He loves us the same way.  His love isn’t conditional like earthly love is. He remains faithful and unfailing in His love toward us. It doesn’t ebb and flow and it’s not dependent on our successes and failures at any given moment. His eternal love is placed forever in His son and we are placed in the son forever. We always have a place of great joy and love in Fathers house. He loves it when we show up to worship and minister to His heart. He is delighted when we submit ourselves to His way and leave ours behind so He can bless us in every way.

Out of knowing Him and who you are in Him you begin the awesome journey of having Christ formed in you which last a life time until He calls you home to your real home. Your home is with Him now and forever. In this season of Thanksgiving and Christmas many of us feel like orphans or are reminded of love lost or missing the heart of the Father as He expresses Himself in His family the bride. You are connected to Him and His body. This Friday night Holy Spirit will be coming to minister to us as a Father to touch and heal us in every way to remind us yet again of who He is for you and me now. You are invited again to meet with Him in this way and all that seek Him will find Him. In His house there is neither Jew or gentile, man or woman nor is there any man made denomination, there are only sons and daughters of the King. May His family hear His heart in this hour upon their lives and come.

Blessings to you all during this season

John
